The Montana women's golf team wrapped up its fall schedule on Tuesday with a ninth-place finish at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational. The two-day tournament was played at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club in Lakewood, Wash.

The Grizzlies shot rounds of 313, 312 and 316.

Hailey Hoagland (70-77-79--226), tied for third after Monday's two rounds, shot a final-day 79 to finish tied for seventh.

Montana's five players combined to shoot just three of 10 scores on Monday in the 70s. The Grizzlies matched that in one round on Tuesday, with Teigan Avery (87-72-78--237) and Kari Opatz (81-82-78-241) both shooting a 6-over 78.

Avery tied for 34th, Opatz for 49th.

Baylee Barckley (80-81-81--242) and Faith D'Ortenzio (82-86-84--252) both shot three rounds in the 80s and finished outside the top 50.

North Dakota State's Natalie Roth shot rounds of 71, 72 and 70 to finish 3-under and eight strokes clear of the field. She also led the Bison (300-307-302--909) to the team title by 12 shots over UC Irvine.

Montana will not compete again for nearly four months. The Grizzlies will be under a new coach when they play at the Battle at the Rock in Riverside, Calif., on Feb. 12-13.
