To help ease the burden on those affected by the current government shutdown, Grizzly Athletics will offer any U.S. government employee on furlough two complimentary tickets to Griz and Lady Griz basketball games through the duration of the shutdown.
Â
The offer does not include the Montana-Montana State games on Saturday, Feb. 23, should the shutdown still be in effect at that time.
Â
Furloughed employees can show their valid government ID at the Adams Center Box Office for two general admission tickets.
Â
"Per capita, Montana is one of the states most affected by the shutdown. This is a small gesture, but we hope this can provide some relief to those who are impacted," said Brynn Molloy, who oversees community relations for Grizzly Athletics.
Â
The first game to be included in the offer will be Saturday, when the Lady Griz face Idaho at 2 p.m.
General admission only and the offer is not valid on previously purchased tickets.
