The Montana men's basketball team continues its preseason preparation with several workouts per week. That will take another step forward next week, when official preseason practices begin on Oct. 14.
In mid-September, the NCAA Division I Council voted to begin the 2020-21 men's basketball season on Wednesday, Nov. 25. With an opening date now set, Montana is working to finalize its schedule. The NCAA will allow up to 27 games, or 24-25 without an MTE (multi-team event). The Big Sky Conference is also discussing what its league schedule will look like this year.
