
Lady Griz face split week

The Montana women's basketball team will open its week with a road game and close it with another one at home as the back half of the Big Sky Conference schedule continues.

The Lady Griz (11-9, 6-5 BSC) will play at Eastern Washington (2-17, 1-9 BSC) at noon (MT) on Thursday, then host Idaho (13-6, 8-2 BSC) at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Dahlberg Arena.

After facing the Vandals on Saturday, Montana will play five of its last seven regular-season games on the road.

The Lady Griz' final home games will be against Northern Arizona and Sacramento State on Feb. 27 and 29, with the latter serving as Senior Day.

Where they stand (Montana): The Lady Griz are tied for fourth in the Big Sky standings with Portland State and Idaho State, with Northern Colorado, at 5-5, even with those teams in the loss column. Montana went 2-2 on its recently completed four-game home stand.
