Riley Corcoran, the Voice of the Griz, kicks off the New Year by diving into Griz and Lady Griz basketball. In this week's episode, Corcoran talks with head men's basketball coach Travis DeCuire and head women's basketball coach Mike Petrino. Both squads earned splits against Northern Colorado over the weekend, with all four games being decided by four points or fewer. After a heartbreaking loss in the final second on Saturday, the men bounced back with a dramatic victory, taking the lead with 4.8 seconds to play. On the women's side, the Lady Griz overcame a 19-point deficit to beat the Bears on the road, before nearly doing it again two days later, taking Northern Colorado to overtime after once trailing by 24.
