Montana hosted Western Washington on Sunday in a closed-door scrimmage. The NCAA allows teams to play two 'secret' scrimmages prior to the start of the season, giving Montana a second opportunity to face another opponent, after the Grizzlies hosted Washington State the previous week.
Fans will have their first chance to see the Grizzlies play a live home game in more than 600 days next week, when Montana hosts Dickinson State in the 2021-22 opener (7:30 p.m.). Prior to tip, the Lady Griz will hold their season opener inside Dahlberg Arena (5 p.m.). Tickets can be purchased online.
