With Montana football advancing to the quarterfinals of the FCS playoffs and set to face No. 3-seed James Madison Friday night in Harrisonburg, Virginia, Montana's basketball game that evening has been moved up to 3 p.m.
The Griz and Yellowstone Christian College Centurions will now tip at 3 p.m. inside Dahlberg Arena.
The move allows Griz fans to attend the basketball game, while still being able to watch the Griz and Dukes battle for a semifinal berth on ESPN2. Kickoff in Harrisonburg is scheduled for 5 p.m. MT.
Montana basketball has won four of its past six games – including the Zootown Classic title and its Big Sky Conference opener – and will host a pair of non-conference games this week: Wednesday vs. Air Force (7 p.m.) and Friday vs. Yellowstone Christian College (3 p.m.). Tickets can be purchased online.
