The Grizzly Scholarship Association (GSA) kicks off its 2021 road game tailgate party slate on Sept. 4 when the Griz travel to Seattle to face the University of Washington at Husky Stadium in the season opener.
Â
While there is no official Montana tailgate, Griz fans are encouraged to gather in "The Zone," Washington's official lakeside pregame tailgate headquarters.

The Zone is located on the East Practice Field of Husky Stadium between the Waterfront Activities Center and the Husky Softball Field. The Zone opens three (3) hours prior to kickoff (2 p.m. PT) and will feature food trucks, beer, wine, soft drinks, the UW radio show, TVs with other college football games, and more. A game ticket is required in order to enter The Zone.Â

The GSA will also host Griz fan tailgate parties at three other UM road games this season, starting with Eastern Washington on Oct. 2, Idaho on Oct. 23, and Northern Arizona on Nov. 13.
At NAU, the official Griz tailgate will be located on the south side of the Walkup Skydome in Lot C, and will open two hours before kickoff. Details on the GSA's other two road game tailgates at EWU and Idaho will be announced in the near future.

At each Griz home game of 2021, the GSA and Summit Beverage will once again host the official Griz pregame and halftime tailgate party outside Washington-Grizzly Stadium. The GSA tailgate runs two hours prior to kickoff and approximately 15 minutes at halftime.
