MISSOULA - Broadcast details are set for all 12 Montana football games in 2026, with Scripps Sports returning as the Grizzlies' primary television partner for a fourth consecutive season through the extended partnership between Grizzly Athletics, the Big Sky Conference, the E.W. Scripps Company and the Montana Television Network.
Â
Scripps Sports will broadcast 10 of Montana's 12 games statewide this season, including the annual Brawl of the Wild. Eight of those games will also air on select Scripps stations across the Rocky Mountain West, expanding UM's regional broadcast footprint. The two exceptions are Montana's games at Oregon State, airing on the USA Sports Network, and the Nov. 14 home game against Idaho State, airing on the ESPN family of networks.
Â
Montana will appear on USA Sports for the first time when the Grizzlies visit Oregon State on Sept. 19. The network, a Pac-12 broadcast partner, is available on basic cable and satellite packages nationwide.
Â
The Griz also return to ESPN in 2026 when they host Idaho State as part of the Big Sky's partnership with the "Worldwide Leader in Sports." The Griz/Bengals matchup will be the first home game in Missoula broadcast on an ESPN network since 2025's playoff game against South Dakota that drew nearly two million viewers to make it the most watched FCS playoff game ever. The Griz have played three regular season home games on an ESPN network since 2015, drawing a combined 1.3 million eyeballs to Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
Â
Of Montana's 10 statewide Scripps broadcasts, six will air on local CBS affiliates and four on The Spot-MTN, an independent television network that serves as the secondary home of Big Sky Conference games.
Â
Montana's Scripps broadcast crew also returns for a second consecutive season, with Trey Bender on play-by-play, former Grizzly All-American Jordan Tripp as analyst and Kyle Hansen reporting from the sidelines.
Â
All Scripps games will also be streamed live and without blackout nationwide on the ESPN+ streaming platform.
Â
Complete broadcast information, including market-by-market channel listings, is available at GoGriz.com/WhereToWatch.
Â
Montana opens the season on Scripps Sports Aug. 29 in a Big Sky contest against Southern Utah, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. under the lights at Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
