7/13/2023 8:32:00 AM | Football
The Montana Grizzlies, Big Sky Conference, and Scripps Television have finalized the kickoff times and broadcast details for the upcoming conference football season, the league announced Thursday.Â
Â
Montana Television Network stations statewide will once again broadcast the entirety of the Grizzlies' Big Sky slate, except for the previously announced ESPN2 game at Idaho. A nationwide stream of each game will also be available on ESPN+.
Â
SWX stations will broadcast Montana's two home nonconference games statewide in September, with a stream of those games also available on ESPN+
Â
The Griz will play a total of six night games in 2023, with the home game against Sacramento State on Nov. 4 set to be played under the lights at Washington-Grizzly Stadium at 6 p.m. The nonconference home game against Ferris State on Sept. 16 is also set to kickoff at 6 p.m.
Â
On the road, Montana will play at night against Utah Tech on Sept. 9 (7 p.m. MT), UC Davis on Oct. 7 (5 p.m. MT), Idaho on Oct. 14 (8:30 p.m. MT), and Portland State on Nov. 11 (8 p.m. MT).
Â
The Grizzlies open the season against Butler on Sept. 2 at noon in Missoula. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. Mountain Time at Northern Arizona on Sept. 23 and at home against Idaho State on Sept. 30 for homecoming. UM's home game against Northern Colorado is set for 1 p.m. on Oct. 28.
Â
The 122nd edition of the Brawl of the Wild against Montana State is set for high noon on Nov. 18 in Missoula.Â
Â
Season tickets and three-game mini plans are available now at GrizTix.com and the Adams Center Ticket Office.Â
Â
The best way to guarantee the best seats for all six home games is by purchasing season tickets.
Â
Mini plans are also an option for those who can't commit to six Saturdays. New this year, Montana is offering two separate mini plans.
Â
The MSU+2 mini plan secures tickets to the highly anticipated game vs. Montana State, in addition to two other games of the fan's choice. The 3-game mini plan is more affordable, allowing fans to choose three games from any of Montana's first five opponents.
Â
Single-game tickets for Montana's first five home games will go on sale in mid-July. Single-game tickets for the Montana State game – if any tickets are available – will go on sale in September. Don't delay. The only way to guarantee tickets to the Brawl of the Wild is through season tickets or a mini plan.
