Overnight rains left the Wolf Creek Golf Course unplayable on Tuesday morning, forcing the cancelation of the final round of the Kelsey Chugg Invitational in Eden, Utah.

The 11 competing teams were able to get in a weather-delayed 36 holes on Monday.

After a scoring discrepancy was fixed, Montana's rounds of 311 and 306 on Monday left the Grizzlies in fourth place in the final team standings, their best season-opening finish since 2013-14.

Montana finished second among the six Big Sky Conference teams competing, coming in behind only runner-up and host Weber State, which shot rounds of 308 and 290.

Cal Baptist (303-292) won the tournament by three strokes over the Wildcats.

Raina Ports (77-75) tied for 10th to lead the Grizzlies, her third collegiate top-10 finish.

Kendall Hayward (77-76) tied for 13th, her best collegiate finish, while Hannah Ports (80-76) and Elle Higgins (77-79) tied for 22nd.

Montana's fall schedule will continue when the Grizzlies compete at the Eagle Invitational on Sunday and Monday. The tournament will be played at the Circling Raven Golf Club in Worley, Idaho.
