Copper and Gold Jerseys up for “Throwback Uniform of the Year”

Montana's "Party Like It's 1995" homecoming uniforms have been nominated for the college football "Throwback Uniform of the Year" by the online football outlet UNISWAG, and the Griz need your vote.
The uniforms were a callback to UM's copper and gold colors and worn to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the 1995 national championship team against Cal Poly during the University of Montana's 2025 homecoming celebration.
The outfit featured the original copper jerseys with MONTANA across the front in gold block letters, with white pants featuring a copper stripe down the side. The uniform was completed with a gold helmet featuring the "Otto the slobbering bear" logo that used to adorn the basketball floor in the Adams Center in the 80's and early 90's.
Montana's copper and gold uniforms are one of nine finalists for the UNISWAG Throwback Uniform of the Year along with outfits worn by Arizona State, Florida, Northwestern, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Voting for the Throwback Uniform of the Year Award is conducted through the UNISWAG website and runs from Feb. 25-27. All winners of the UNISWAG annual awards will be announced on March 9.
