Montana's fall sports of cross country, football, soccer and volleyball placed 85 student-athletes on the Academic All-Big Sky Conference teams, the league office announced on Thursday.
Â
The Grizzlies ranked third in the Big Sky behind Weber State (95) and Idaho (87).
Â
Montana had seven men's cross country runners make the team and six women, 41 football, 20 soccer and 11 volleyball players.
Â
Former Griz football coach Bobby Hauck's program had a league-high number of selections in that sport. The soccer program's 20 selections ranked second in that sport.
Â
"Congratulations to the 760-plus individuals who make up our 2025 Fall All-Academic teams," Big Sky Commissioner Tom Wistrcill said.
Â
"Student-athletes are met with so many distractions in the current state of college athletics. Seeing this group buckle down and earn this recognition is truly special and is also a testament to our campus communities that the right priorities are still in place."
