2010-11: He started in all 32 games for the Griz and was the team's second leading rebounder (5.2 rpg) and third leading scorer (10.1 ppg). He was an honorable mention All-Big Sky Conference selection. He scored in double figures in 13 games. He had a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds in a 79-58 win at Montana State.
2009-10: He had an outstanding sophomore season, playing in all 22 games and starting in two (at Loyola Marymount and at Colorado State)...UM's second leading rebounder (5.1 rpg) and number five scorer (6.0 ppg)...ranked 14th in the Big Sky in rebounds... named to the Big Sky's all-tournament team, scoring 18 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in the semis and title game...had six double-figure scoring games and also had two double-doubles.
2008-09 (Freshman): He was a solid contributor but missed the last seven games of the season because of an injury...played in the first 22 games, averaging 10.9 minutes per contest.
2007-08: He was a redshirt at Montana.
High School: He lettered four times in basketball and three times in football at Dawson County High School... averaged 21.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 blocks, and 4.0 assists as a senior...all-state in hoops as a junior and senior, and a four-time all-conference pick...basketball league MVP as a senior...team captain in basketball and football...hoop teams won divisional championships his junior and senior seasons, both teams compiling 22-2 records...his high school coach was his dad, Doug Selvig, a former basketball standout for the Grizzlies.
Personal: His major is Health and Human Performance. Birth date: April 11, 1989. His dad, Doug, is eighth in UM history with 361 career assists and scored 1,000 career points (1980-84)...his mom Anita (Novak) is ranked among Lady Griz (1981-85) all-time leaders with 1,158 career points and 791 rebounds... his uncle, Robin Selvig is in his 32nd season as the Lady Griz head coach...his aunt Sandy (Selvig) Sullivan played for the Lady Griz from 1978-81. His dad also wore the number 24 when he played for the Grizzlies. His sister, Carly, is a redshirt freshman on the Lady Griz team.
