High School: Is a 2019 graduate of Hillcrest Prep in Arizona, where he was coached by his father, Howard Thomas… Averaged 15.2 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.3 blocks and 1.6 assists per game as a senior, helping Hillcrest to a 35-5 overall record and 15-0 mark in its section… Was a three-star recruit out of high school by 247Sports and Rivals… Played his freshman and sophomore seasons for Cesar Chavez High School… Played AAU basketball for Compton Magic Select.

Personal: Born in Durham, North Carolina… Moved to Arizona for high school… younger brother Dorell played one season for Montana, now is at Gillette College.
