2019: The emergence of Sirmon starting at center has made the O-line an area of strength… His willingness to work in the weight room has paid off in his position transitions, putting 551 pounds for a max squat and having a max clean of 385 pounds
2018: Sirmon transitioned from a role on the interior of the defensive line into a role as an offensive guard coming into the 2018 season's fall camp ... Sirmon started in 9 games for the Grizzlies this season but saw action in all 11 games on the year ... Once again awarded the William (Biff) Hall Scholarship at the annual Scholar Athlete Award Banquet
2017: Academic All-Big Sky… Made the transition to defensive end from linebacker … Tallied nine tackles, one solo … Registered two sacks and a half-TFL… Had two quarterback hurries … Had a career-high five tackles against Savannah State … Also got in on a half-TFL for a loss of three yards against SSU … Registered a TFL against Washington for a loss of four yards … Had three tackles at Weber State

Sirmon played in all 11 games as a freshman linebacker … Recorded 14 total tackles … Had half of a tackle for loss … Posted a career-high five tackles against Sacramento State on Oct. 15 … three tackles Oct. 8 against Miss. Valley State... Was awarded the William (Biff) Hall Scholarship at the annual Lindsay Awards Banquet.

HIGH SCHOOL:Sirmon was a three-year starter at linebacker at Wenatchee HS… Senior year he had 106 tackles, 10 TFLS, 3 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries… A first team all-conference selection at linebacker as a junior and senior... Team captain and MVP as a senior… MVP of freshman football squad… His prep football coach was Scott Deveraux... Also a two-year letterman in wrestling.
PERSONAL: Sirmon is a health and human performance major at UM… His parents are Kaye and John Sirmon of Wenatchee… His dad John was a four-year starter at Idaho from 1988-92… His uncle Peter Sirmon is a member of Oregon's hall of fame at linebacker (1996-99), and he played seven seasons for the Titans… His uncle David Sirmon played linebacker at Montana from 1992-95, and was a member of the Grizzlies' national title team in 1995 … Sirmon has two siblings, a sister who is a sophomore at the University of Washington and apart of the Women’s Rowing team and a younger brother that is junior QB at Wenatchee High School.
