HIGH SCHOOL: He caught 27 passes for 382 yards (14.1 yards per catch) and nine touchdowns as a senior at Washburn High...chosen all-state and All-Metro as a senior, and named conference MVP...his high school coach was Giovan Jenkins...he led Minnesota's prep ranks his senior year with 14 sacks, playing defensive end...also earned three letters in basketball...served as team captain in football and hoops his junior and senior seasons.
