Jeff Allen

Jeff Allen is in his first year as an assistant coach in the Montana women’s golf program.
Originally from Dillon, Mont., and a 2005 graduate of Beaverhead County High, Allen competed collegiately at MSU Billings and later coached at the school from 2016-21.
He began his collegiate coaching career as an assistant at MSUB. He was elevated to associate head coach in 2018, the head coach for both men’s and women’s programs in 2019.
He coached the MSUB men’s team to its first-ever NCAA postseason spot in 2021, with the Yellowjackets placing fifth at the West Region Championship, coming up one shot short of advancing to nationals.
He also coached the program’s first individual to qualify for the NCAA Championship in 2021.
Allen competed for MSU Billings from 2006-10, entered the PGA of America program in 2011 and became a Class A PGA Professional in 2016.
Allen worked as the Assistant Golf Professional at Hilands Golf Club in Billings from 2011-19.
He was named the Rocky Mountain Section PGA Assistant Professional of the Year in 2014, the Rocky Mountain Section PGA Youth Player Development Award winner in 2018.
In 2023, MSU Billings officially opened a new on-campus indoor practice facility that Allen both designed and helped fundraise for.
Allen is the experiential representative in Montana for TaylorMade Golf Company. He and his wife, Kalli, have two daughters.
The former Kalli Stanhope competed in both golf and basketball at MSU Billings. She was inducted into the MSUB Yellowjacket Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018.
