Women's tennis drops season opener to Utah, 7-0

The University of Montana women's tennis team lost 7-0 to Utah Saturday morning at the Anderson-Bobcat Tennis Complex in Bozeman. The Utes improve to 2-2 on the season with the win while the Grizzlies fall to 0-1.
"Doubles wise it was very close. We had match points at No. 1 and No. 2," Griz coach Kris Nord said. "They were a really tough opponent. It was good to start the season with Utah."
Montana returns to action Sunday for a double-header against Northern Colorado at 10 a.m. and Montana State at 3 p.m.
