Montana women's tennis falls to Boise State, 6-1

The University of Montana women's tennis team dropped the doubles point and managed only one singles victory in a 6-1 loss to Boise State Friday evening at the Appleton Outdoor Tennis Center in Boise, Idaho. The loss drops the Griz to 3-5 on the season. The Broncos improve to 4-5 overall.

Cheyne Ursich was the only Grizzly to record a win in the weekend-opening match. The sophomore from Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., won 7-5, 7-6 over Alissa Ayling at the No. 1 singles position.

The Griz return to action on Saturday, March 12, with a 10 a.m. dual against Idaho.
