UM men's tennis falls to Nevada, 5-2

The University of Montana men??s tennis team lost 5-2 in a neutral-site match with Nevada Sunday morning in Las Cruces, N.M. The loss dropped the Grizzlies to 2-6 overall. The Wolf Pack improved to 3-7 on the year.
A pair of Montana freshmen won matches at Nos. 3 and 4 singles. Felipe Raw improved his season singles mark to 5-3 with a 6-3, 2-6, 6-3 victory over Eldar Dzhafarov at the No. 3. Colin Dektar won in straight sets over Tibor Penzes at No. 4 singles, 6-4, 6-3.
The Grizzlies (2-6) open Big Sky Conference play and continue non-conference duals March 24-27 with a four-match road swing. Montana faces four matches in four days at Weber State, Utah, Utah State and Idaho State.
