Hornets sweep UM women's tennis, 7-0

The University of Montana women's tennis team fell to 0-2 in Big Sky Conference matches, 1-10 overall, with a 7-0 loss at Sacramento State Saturday afternoon. The Grizzlies will wrap up their three-match California trip with a match at San Francisco Sunday at noon (MTN).
The Hornets improved to 9-4 overall, 4-0 in Big Sky matches. The victory was their 36th straight league win.
Sophomore Liz Walker and freshman Danni Paulson lost a tight match at No. 1 doubles, 8-7, but Sacramento State swept Nos. 2 and 3 doubles, 8-0, to easily win the doubles point.
The Hornets then won all six singles matches in straight sets.
