
“Bike the Bitterroot” and support the Griz this weekend

Those looking for a fun outdoor activity this weekend or who want to show their support to the Montana women's tennis team still have time to register for the Grizzlies' inaugural "Bike the Bitterroot Family Fun Ride and Fundraiser," set for this Saturday, Sept. 28.
The "Bike the Bitterroot Fun Ride" is a 10-mile round-trip spin along the beautiful Bitterroot River, starting at the Grizzlies' home courts at the PEAK Athletic Club on Blue Mountain Road and following the river to Lolo before returning to the PEAK.
The first-of-its-kind fundraiser for UM Athletics starts at the PEAK on Saturday at 10 a.m., and is open to families and riders of all ages and abilities. Day-of registration begins at 9 a.m.
Riders will receive a free commemorative t-shirt, free raffle entry with the chance to win great prizes, and the opportunity to meet and interact with Grizzly tennis players and coaching staff.
Entry fees for the ride are $40 for adults, $10 for ages 13-18, with riders 12 & under FREE. University of Montana staff and students are encouraged to sign up and will receive half-off their entry fee with a valid Griz Card.
