Registration for the 2022 GSA Online Auction Open Now

Montana sports fans will soon have the chance to bid on exclusive Griz memorabilia, team travel, event tickets, and much more with registration underway for the 2022 Grizzly Scholarship Association Online Auction.

This year's GSA Online Auction starts Wednesday, Nov. 9, at 4 p.m. and will stay open for one week until Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 8 p.m. Current auction items are available to view online now, with more items added daily until it opens.

2022 marks the second year the GSA has turned to an online auction format in an effort to give fans nationwide a chance to win exclusive prizes and support the GSA in its mission to provide student-athlete scholarships.

"The online format has allowed us to reach all of Griz Nation, with over 500 participants from New York to Tampa to Sidney Montana, in 2021," said Greg Sundberg, deputy athletics director and GSA executive director.

"We want to encourage everyone to get registered for this event. It is completely free to sign up and view the items. All proceeds from this auction go to the GSA, so it's a great way for fans to bid on unique Grizzly items for a good cause."

Registration for the GSA Online Auction is free and can be done following the ten easy steps below.

Detailed steps on how to register and have the best auction experience:
1.     Type upwithmontana.com/2022gsaauction into your web browser.

2.     Click "Register Now" You will then be prompted to complete required registration questions to create your account. Be sure to include up-to-date card information and an email that you check regularly. As well as the cellphone number you plan to download the app with.

3.     After you agree to the terms and conditions, click "Register."

4.     You should receive a welcome email from Handbid Service. Please open the email and click the "Get Started" button.

5.     You will be redirected to a new screen which will ask that you select an option on how to bid. Handbid highly encourages its users to get the app.

6.     Allow the page to redirect you to the App Store. Tap "GET" to open access to the free Handbid app.

7.     Once the app is installed, click "Get Started." You will then select the option "Register/Login." After filling in the requested information, click "Next."

8.     Handbid will text you a 5-digit code to verify your identity. Type that code in when prompted.

9.     Please walk through the provided tutorial that explains how to navigate the Handbid app.

10. At this point, you should be able to see "2022 GSA Auction" on the main page. When you click on that menu, you will be able to see your personal dashboard and auction items organized in categories such as Dinning, Events, Experiences, etc. Happy bidding and thank you for supporting our student-athletes!
