MISSOULA, Mont. - The Montana men's tennis team took care of business Sunday morning, cruising past the Whitworth Pirates 7-0 at the Peak Racquet Club in Missoula to sweep the weekend's matches and improve to 6-0 on the season.
Â
Off to their best start in program history, the Griz swept the doubles and singles round in straight-set matches to remain undefeated at home over the past two seasons with a 25-2 record in Missoula under head coach Jason Brown.
Â
"It felt really good to be back home this week, and the guys played like it. Just A-plus tennis all around," said Brown.
Â
"I'm excited that everyone got some action this weekend, and it's great we're building that sort of confidence here at the Peak because we'll need it when the Big Sky schedule rolls around."
