The Montana men's tennis team sent five players through to the main singles draw at the ITA Mountain Regional in Las Vegas over the weekend.

Grizzly underclassmen Matt Upton (a freshman) and Moritz Lesjak (a sophomore) each earned two wins in the qualification draw to advance to the main bracket, with Duncan McCall, Baltazar Wiger-Nordas, and Tom Bittner each being seeded in the main draw.

Upton won his third singles match of the tournament in the consolation round, beating Weber State's Minh Tuan Dinh Viet 6-2, 3-6, 1-0(6) in a superbreaker. Upton and McCall also partnered to earn a win over the Wildcats' Quijano/Mottier pair, 8-4.

Montana continues its fall tournament slate this week in Bozeman at the Montana State invitational before capping the season at a UC San Diego hidden duals tournament and an NCAA Conference Masters tournament, both held Nov. 6-9 in San Diego.
