2024-25 (So): Expected to once again be one of the top players in the Big Sky Conference after a stellar freshman year.

Had a breakout season in her first year of college tennis, going 6-2 in conference play to earn Big Sky Freshman of the Year honors…. Started the year on court one, but found her groove on court two, making the move in March… Once in the second position she went 8-4 and went on a six-match win streak with four in three-set comebacks and two pulled out in a tiebreaker to finish the year 9-9 overall… Went 4-4 in Big Sky doubles play and 7-12 overall, playing on court one, winning six of her last 10 matches.

High School: A five-time letterwinner in tennis at Minnetonka Senior High… Was a two-time team captain and helped lead the Skippers to a pair of Minnesota State Championships in 2021 and 2022… In 2022 was the No. 3 individual, and in 2021 was the No. 2 individual in the state… Went undefeated in the 2022 fall season at No. 1 singles in dual matches for MHS and was the MSHSL state runner-up at the individual state championship... Named a 2022 Scholar Student-Athlete at MHS with a 4.2 GPA… Prep coaches were David Stearns and Brent Lundell.

Personal: Parents are Cheri and John Phillips of Excelsior, Minn.… Uncle Michael Smith was a wide receiver and punt returner on the Grizzly football team from 1997-1999… Studying Business Management at UM… Hopes to pursue a career in International Relations.
