2023/24 (Fr.): Joined the program in time for the spring season... Went 5-4 overall in singles and 0-1 in Big Sky singles... Was 4-4 overall in doubles and 0-1 in Big Sky doubles.

High School: Ranked one of the top-10 players in Romania… Won over 80 tournaments as a junior player…. A four-time runner-up and three-time third place finisher at the Romanian national inter-club tournament in the men’s open division… Also a four-time team captain at the national club tournament… Was coached by Dobre Daniel, who also coached world No. 1 and fellow Romanian Simona Halep.

Personal: Parents are Cornel and Angela Bucurescu of Bucharest… Lists Roger Federer as his favorite player… Lists his goals at Montana to finish his career as a top-150 ATP player, a Griz captain, and to help UM win a Big Sky championship... Plans to major in Business Administration at Montana.
