Freshman Reeve Borseth, from Marysville, Wash., collected her first career point as a Grizzly on Sunday, Oct. 9, when she assisted on the opening goal in Montana’s 2-1 victory over Big Sky Conference preseason favorite Northern Colorado at South Campus Stadium.
Borseth played just 29 minutes in two matches through Montana’s first 14 games of the season, but she entered the match against the Bears in the first half and played 38 minutes.
Her cross from the left side in the 42nd minute was scored by another freshman, Eliza Bentler, and gave the Grizzlies a lead they would hold the rest of the match.
