Mack Konig, a freshman point guard from Milton, Ontario, averaged 15.5 points and 6.0 assists as Montana swept Sacramento State and Portland State at home in late January.

Konig led the Lady Griz to a two-game scoring average of 84.5 points on 48.3 percent shooting while shooting 48.0 percent herself and going 5 for 11 from the 3-point line.

In its 81-77 comeback win over the Hornets, a game Montana trailed by 14 in the third quarter and by 11 early in the fourth, Konig had 21 points and six assists.

It gave her back-to-back 20-point scoring games, a first for a Montana true freshman since the 2009-10 season.

In Montana’s 88-56 wire-to-wire victory over the Vikings, Konig had 10 points and six assists as the Lady Griz hit a season-high 13 3-pointers.
