
Montana on the road to play Washington on Tuesday

THE GAME: The University of Montana Grizzlies (1-2) are on the road again for a pair of games, starting with the University of Washington Huskies (2-3), Tuesday, Nov. 26, with tip-off at 7:00 p.m. (Mtn.) in UW's Alaska Airlines Arena (10,000).
NEXT: Montana is at Hawai'i on Friday, Nov. 29, for a return game from a BracketBuster contest played in Missoula in the 2011-12 season, which Montana won, 94-79.
RADIO: Tom Schultz will be calling the play-by-play on UM's flagship station, KGVO 1290 AM/ & 101.5 FM. (MBB Radio Network listed on add 4 of the weekly release).
TV: The Montana-Washington game will be televised on the Pac-12 Network, with Rich Waltz calling the play-by-play and Ernie Kent serving as the color analyst.

GRIZ LAST GAME: U of San Francisco 75, at Montana 74: The Dons dominated play inside en route to the win, scoring 30 points in the paint (UM had 16), and they out-rebounded the Griz 35 to 25. Junior forward Kruize Pinkins came off the bench to lead USF with 22 points, and he made 10-of-11 shots from the floor, most of them coming in the paint. Jamar led Montana with a game-high 25 points, and he led UM with 8 assists and 6 rebounds
GRIZ LAST SEASON: The Griz were 25-7 and made their second trip in a row and third in the last four years to the NCAA Tournament. The Griz won the Big Sky regular-season title with a 19-1 record. UM guard-forward Kareem Jamar was named the Big Sky MVP, while guard Jordan Gregory was an honorable mention all-league pick.
COACH TINKLE THIRD IN CAREER WINS: With UM's win at South Dakota State on Nov. 14, Griz mentor Wayne Tinkle now has 142 career wins -- the third most in Montana history. He recently passed Blaine Taylor, who had 141 career victories from 1992-1998. Tinkle has taken the Griz to the NCAA Tournament three times in his tenure.
JAMAR 15TH IN CAREER SCORING: Jamar now has 1,174 career points, which ranks him 15th in school history. He needs 41 to pass Charles Davis (1,214 points, 1947, 1951-53) for 14th.
