Elements, fatigue, new territory -- these things don't faze the Montana Grizzlies women's tennis team. For the second time in as many days, Steve Ascher's lineup annihilated their opponent 7-0.

The win over Southern Utah improves the Griz to 7-5 overall and 2-0 in Big Sky Conference play. It was the fourth time this spring that UM has swept an opponent.

"It feels really good to get that conference win, and to get it 7-0," Precious Gbadamosi said. "We all went up big and played our game, so it's a nice feeling."

Gbadamosi won at No. 2 singles in straight sets over Veronika Rogova.

"It was a competitive match," Gbadamosi said. "She was a good opponent, but I felt like I was mentally more strong than her out on the court, so it worked out in my favor. I was able to relax and play my game."

Gbadamosi and Haley Driver won at No. 1 doubles 8-3.

"It was super fun and we were consistent," Gbadamosi said. "We won all our service games, and we didn't even give them a chance to make their shots."

UM also claimed No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches to win the doubles point heading into singles play. Griz players won in straight sets at singles No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6.

Gbadamosi says having Saturday off will be a great way to prepare for Northern Arizona.

"It's the wind and the elevation -- those are the two main things there," she said. "We're really great mental players, so I know we will find a way to get into a groove and work it out.

The Griz play the Lumberjacks at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
