Â
The Montana Grizzlies will put on their final show of the 2015-16 season in Dahlberg Arena on Saturday, hosting Northern Colorado on March 5, before departing for Reno to battle it out for a trip to the big dance at the Big Sky Conference tournament. Â
Â
SCHEDULE ALERT: The Griz/Bears game will tipoff at 2 p.m. instead of the normal 7 p.m. start time to accommodate the Montana boys state class A high school hoops tourney, being held at the Adams Center.
Â
Griz fans are encouraged to come early, and stay late to take in some of the best high school hoops Montana has to offer.
Â
SENIOR NIGHT: Saturday's game will be the last time Montana fans get to see one of UM's most prolific scorers in program history in action, as Martin Breunig is honored before his final home game of the season.
Â
The Griz will also pay tribute to Kramer Ungaretti, who has served as team manager for the past five years.
Â
COVERAGE: The Griz/Bears contest can be seen live and free of charge via web stream at watchbigsky.com. Saturday will also mark broadcasting legend Mick Holien's final home broadcast on the play-by-play radio call. Fans can tune in statewide on the Montana Grizzlies Radio Network, or via audio stream at gogriz.com.

Â
BIG SKY IMPLICATIONS: At 14-3, both Montana and Weber State are knotted atop the Big Sky league table with one game to play. The Griz are still very much in the hunt for an outright regular season championship, or, at least a share of the title, if the following scenarios play out:
Â
To win outright: Montana needs a win against UNC, and a Weber State loss at Eastern Washington. The Weber/Eastern matchup is an interesting one, with both teams coming off upset losses on Thursday. Who will be more motivated? Time will tell.
Â
For a share of the title: If both the Griz and Wildcats win on Saturday, both teams will split the regular season title. Weber holds the tiebreaker thanks to the head-to-head result in Utah, and would receive the No. 1 seed at the league tournament.
Â
If the Griz earn the No. 1 seed at the conference tournament, UM would play the winner of the 8/9 seed game in Reno on March 10, at 12:05 p.m.
Â
Should the Griz take the No. 2 seed in Reno, UM will play in the quarterfinal round later that evening against the winner of the 7/10 seed game at 5:35 p.m..
Â
SERIES HISTORY: Montana leads the all-time series with UNC 20-7.
Â
LAST TIME OUT: The Griz will be looking for the season sweep of Northern Colorado after UM defeated the Bears 73-66 back in January in Greely. True freshman Michael Oguine sealed the win for the Griz by hitting a three from the corner to squash a late run from UNC. Martin Breunig led all scorers with 22 points.
Â
GRIZ TRACKS: At 1,059 career points, Martin Breunig now sits at No. 24 on Montana's all-time scoring list, moving past Roger Fasting's career mark on Thursday against UND.
Â
Breunig's 525 points is currently the eleventh-best single season total in Montana history amongst 1,000 point club members. His season total of 534 from last season will likely be broken against UNC on Saturday, and he could likely surpass Larry Krystkowiak's sophomore year total of 539 points, to make this season one of the top-eight single seasons in program history after tomorrow's game.
Â
If he continues his average of 19 points per game, and the Grizzlies play their way into the conference championship game, he will have scored 605 points this season, and make him one of the top-six scorers of all time.
