Gonzaga sweeps Montana in Spokane

The Gonzaga women's tennis team improved to 5-0 on the season with a 7-0 victory over Montana on Friday evening at the Stevens Center in Spokane.

The loss dropped the Grizzlies to 1-7. Montana is still seeking its first victory of the season against a Division I opponent.

The Bulldogs went up 1-0 with a 6-1 win at No. 1 doubles and 6-2 win at No. 3.

The six singles matches were all won in straight sets. Hannah Sulz pushed Nevada Apollo at No. 1, losing 7-6, 6-3. Lidia Dukic lost 7-5, 6-3 at No. 2.

Montana will play Utah State (6-2) at 11 a.m. (MT) on Saturday at the Stevens Center.
