MISSOULA, Mont. – The Montana women's tennis team continues its homestand stretch this weekend, finishing the season at the PEAK Racquet Club, Saturday, at 10 a.m. The Griz will honor seniors Alex Walker and Claudia Reguant as they face the Hornets.
Admission is free for all fans and spectators. There will be live scoring available for those who are not in attendance, which can be found on gogriz.com.
"Senior day is a special moment. Alex and Claudia, they've been here for a long time and have been through a lot, obviously, with the COVID experiences and all the other life experiences that have happened over the last four years. It'll be a celebration of their time and an opportunity to get another win," said head coach Steve Ascher.
"I think coming off last weekend, we got a little taste of a win and we had another close match. We want to have that taste and we want to finish the season on a strong note."
Montana comes off a 5-2 win over Idaho State and a tight 3-4 loss against Northern Arizona, who is currently tied for first in the Big Sky. The match came down to the wire, with the deciding point taking place in the sixth singles match.
